    -The E-Z Lok brass threaded insert for wood is a high quality solid brass
    fastener that is design for hard woods,like oak, cherry & Maple.
    They provide strong metal machine screw Threads and are ideal
    for use wherever assembly or disassembly would lead to thread erosion
    or stripping.the external knife thread cuts into the wood and provides high tensile
    pull loads.The slotted design allows the insert to be installed with a
    slotted screwdriver.
