    Description

This post card was sent from the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire,
to Sainte Marie aux Mines, Alsace, Germany,
    on May 9, 1901
    !
The sender was Turkish, but wrote his/her message in French! The sender and addressee may have been pen pals and/or post card collectors.
    To continue, the lilac
    , 1-Penny QV
British stamp(used as a forerunner of sorts)
is in very good condition! The S.O.N.
cancel from the British P.O. in Constantinople is excellent!
Lastly, as for the condition of the post card, it's superb! It's very clean, but does have some minor creases here and there. The images on the front are still very clear and attractive. Noted imperfections aside, this is a really neat piece of mail sent in 1901 through the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire!
