    Description

This cover was sent from the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire,
    to Harpursville, New York, U.S.A.,
    on May 8, 1901
    !
It was sent to a Mr. S. A. Mason.
    To continue, the blue
    , 2.5-d
    British stamp overprinted(40-Paras) for
use in British Post offices in The Levant is in very good condition! It was used almost more than 4 months after Queen Victoria had died on January 22, 1901! The S.O.N.
cancels from the British P.O. in Constantinople are excellent(though a bit skewed and smudged in places)!
Lastly, as for the condition of the envelope, it's pretty good. It's pretty clean, with some minor creases here and there. The back flap is about 66% intact. The two, side flaps have been cut into a bit at the top due to how the envelope was opened more than 122 years ago. Noted imperfections aside, this is a really neat piece of mail sent in 1901 through the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire!
