Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebooks and DM Screens lot 1st edition. The Holy Grail of 1st edition Dungeons and Dragons! Books are in Very Fine condition. Very minor shelf wear to corners. All three books have very nice, clean, ultra white pages with no writing anywhere besides initials inside cover, name on outer page edges of DMG and one sticker inside PHB. DMG has stain on bottom outer page edges that does not extend into the inner pages. Unbelievably white pages! No signs of yellowing anywhere! Must see in person to believe! Opening these books will make you feel like you have traveled back in time 42 years! Dungeon Master Screens are 4th print. Monster Manual is 5th print. Players handbook is 6th print. Dungeon Master Guide is the 6th beta printing and has the perforated reference sheets still attached. Screens are in excellent condition. Please see pictures! This is a collectors dream! Very rare to find these books in this good of condition. See pictures where the minor defects are shown.I challenge you to find another set of this quality. If it exists it is in the possession of a collector who realizes it for what it is. Someone obviously purchased these, barely used them and stashed them away. Stored correctly for 42 years and it shows. This lot represents a time in history much different than today. They should be in a museum, maybe they should be displayed on your shelf, maybe you could invite some friends over and play old school style Dungeons and Dragons. Maybe another 40 years stored correctly will see them valued at thousands of dollars rather than hundreds. I sell these with great reluctance. Alas, my love of sharing Dungeons and Dragons with others always defeats the gold hoarding Red Dragon collector in me. I hope you will share your love for the world's greatest game with others as well.
